EGX150 Link150 gateway configuration for Modbus devices and Ethernet networks
Schneider Electric EGX150 connects compatible serial Modbus devices to an Ethernet monitoring network. The two Ethernet ports and 24 V DC or PoE powering provide flexibility, but address plans and protocol settings determine whether the gateway will work in a given panel. The shared PLC/communications collage is a category image, not the exact EGX150 unit.

| Purpose | Bridge Modbus serial devices to Ethernet/Modbus TCP |
Map the serial bus
Record all downstream device addresses, baud rate, parity, RS485 topology and termination before replacing EGX150. A Modbus timeout can come from field wiring or address conflicts rather than the gateway itself. Test each slave individually during commissioning.
Network and security
Capture the EGX150 IP address, subnet, routing, access credentials and supervisory connection details. Check whether the site uses daisy-chain Ethernet or separate ports. Apply the current Schneider security guidance and controlled change process before reconnecting to the plant network.
Power and migration
Verify whether EGX150 uses an external DC supply or PoE and ensure the replacement has the same approved source. Schneider identifies newer Panel Server products as possible successors; protocol, software and wiring compatibility still require review.

Before placing an order
Order EGX150 with the network topology, serial-device list, firmware information and power method. A proposed replacement for EGX150 needs a communication test plan.
For EGX150, confirm the printed designation, current Schneider Electric documentation, installation conditions and any lifecycle notice before purchase or commissioning.
Additional EGX visually similar written designations
These entries include brackets, slashes, commas or other printed notation from the requested model list. The notation may describe a configuration or accessory rather than a single orderable part. They are grouped by their visible code pattern only, not by interchangeable technical function. Confirm the actual manufacturer designation and rating before ordering.
