Hirschmann BENAC-100000-96M - macmon, NW Bundle Technical Review for Maintenance Engineers, Integrators and Procurement Teams

Confirm the exact software bundle

Hirschmann BENAC-100000-96M - macmon, NW Bundle identifies the Hirschmann Belden Network Access Control software bundle. The saved manufacturer description is: Belden NAC (Base License / former macmon NAC network bundle) - Belden NAC (former macmon NAC) basic license for NAC monitoring, enforcement and high available distribution of those.. Preserve the complete BENAC code because node quantity and subscription duration are encoded in the ordering identity and nearby bundles are not equivalent.

Check node count and subscription term

Confirm the number of managed endpoints, the required 12-to-120-month term and whether growth during the subscription needs spare capacity. Record how active, inactive, guest, infrastructure and temporarily disconnected devices are counted under the current licensing rules.

Define the access-control scope

Document discovery, profiling, authentication, network access enforcement, guest or bring-your-own-device handling and the required switch, wireless or directory integrations. Verify the exact supported infrastructure and software release rather than assuming compatibility from the macmon family name.

Plan the operating environment

Identify the server or virtual platform, database, backup, directory services, certificates, time source, management network and administrative access model. Review sizing, high availability and cybersecurity controls against current vendor documentation before deployment.

Separate license, support and services

Ask the quotation to distinguish the software entitlement, subscription dates, maintenance or support, implementation, training and any separately required server resources. A bundle name does not by itself confirm that commissioning or migration labor is included.

Manufacturer data for review

Prepare a software-specific RFQ

Request Hirschmann BENAC-100000-96M - macmon, NW Bundle, required node quantity, subscription start date, destination and customer or site details. Include the current network estate, authentication sources, expected integrations and required documents so the proposed scope can be checked before order placement.

Activation and lifecycle record

After purchase, retain the entitlement confirmation, activation details, covered node count, effective dates, software version, support contacts and renewal notice under the project record. Keep configuration exports and acceptance results so future renewal or expansion can reference the exact licensed baseline.
